Final Countdown: Earn Wellbeing Points by December 15 to Secure Incentive!

The clock is ticking and the wellbeing deadline is fast approaching. Have you met point requirements to receive the $500/$1000 incentive in 2025? BMW Associates must earn 100 wellbeing points with 40 points coming from either an annual physical OR a health check by December 15, 2024. Log in to your Wellbeing account and use the checklist below to double check your status.

  • Have you completed a required Annual Physical OR Health Check in 2024?

  • Have you manually uploaded proof of participation for activities with a “Complete This” button?

  • Does your wellbeing account show at least 100 points earned? (40 points MUST come from an annual physical or health check.)

If you are experiencing technical difficulties with your wellbeing account: contact the Navigate help desk at info@navigatewell.com or (888)-282-0822.

If you need to complete an annual physical or a health check:

  • Annual physical—Contact your regular doctor office to schedule an appointment—whether they are at a community office or the AFHC. Associates must manually upload proof of visit to their account to receive points.

  • Health check—these quick appointments are only available through the AFHC. See side bar on the right for locations and scheduling instructions. Points from these appointments are automatically uploaded to your account 2-4 weeks after completing.

If you still need to upload your proof of participation for activities completed: Plan ahead and schedule reminders in your phone! The wellbeing deadline falls on a Sunday this year. All activities must be completed and uploaded to your account by 11:59pm on Sunday, December 15. After that, it will be too late!


Stepping Your Way to Better Health and Wellbeing

Did you know the number of steps you take each day can have a huge impact on your health? For example, moving more each day can lead to improvements in blood pressure, depression and anxiety, and weight management as well as reduce risk of heart disease and Type 2 Diabetes.

You may have heard that getting at least 10,000 steps per day should be your goal—that’s about 5 miles each day. However, recent research has shown the health benefits of daily steps can start at step counts as low as 2,300 per day with greater benefits shown for every 500-1000 step increase from this number. This is good news for us because that means we can set goals to start small and build up our daily step count to 10,000+ overtime! As Harvard Health notes, “even a little movement makes a difference, and more is better.”

Your next wellbeing Group Challenge offers the perfect opportunity to work on getting more steps each day. Over the course of four weeks, the Step-tacular challenge will help you achieve 5,000 steps per day by sharing tips and tricks to sneak steps into your routine. Challenge your coworkers to sign-up with you, get moving together, and finish the year off on the right foot.

  • Registration Dates: October 28—November 10, 2024

  • Challenge Dates: November 4—December 1, 2024
