Your Very Own Health Check

It's voluntary, convenient, and confidential - and it’s a great way to make your wellbeing a priority. Ensuring our continued health and wellbeing is essential for our lives both on and off the job. BMW Associates have the option to volunteer to complete their annual health assessment during work or personal time.

Health checks help you identify your healthy behaviors and any undetected health concerns or conditions that may need attention. The health check is a quick, 30-minute appointment, specific to the AFHC, that has four parts:

  • Finger stick test to check cholesterol, triglycerides, blood glucose, and Hemoglobin A1c

  • Weight and waist circumference measurement

  • Blood pressure reading

  • Health assessment survey

This information will be used to create your personal health report and make recommendations for appropriate follow-up with your Primary Care Provider or other services such as Care Management or Nutrition Counseling.

Appointments should be scheduled in advance and are available weekly at: 

  • Hall 50 IHS - Monday and Thursday - 6:00am - 2:00pm

  • Hall 52 IHS - Tuesday and Wednesday - 6:00am - 2:00pm

  • AFHC - Monday - Friday - varies per clinician schedule.

These appointments are for BMW MC Associates currently enrolled in a BMW Medical plan. To schedule call the AFHC at 864-989-1432 option 1. Or visit the MyPremise portal, select "Schedule an Appointment." To schedule at Hall 50 or Hall 52 - select "Biometrics" and select a day, time, and location. To schedule at the AFHC - select "General Wellness", select "General Wellness" appointment, select "In-Person" appointment, then select your day and time.
