+ What are the hours of operation?

Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

+ Who is eligible to use the Physical Therapy department?

The Physical Therapy Department is open to all Associates and their spouses and dependent children age two and older who are enrolled in a BMW health care plan for medical.


+ How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by calling 855-650-1212 (toll free) or 864-989-1432 (local).

If you are experiencing a medical emergency please call 9-1-1.


+ Are appointments required or can I walk in?

The center is available by appointment. Same day and walk-in appointments will try to be accommodated, however, appointments are encouraged in case there is no availablity same-day.


+ What services does the physical therapy department provide?

  • Evaluation and treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries and impairments.
  • Individualized plans of treatment and tailored home exercise program based on specific diagnosis.


+ If I do not have insurance through BMW, can I still use the center?

No, unfortunately Associates and dependents not on the BMW medical plan are not eligible for services.


+ Is the center an approved provider for workers’ compensation claims? If I get hurt on the job, can/should I go to the center?

The center is an approved provider for workers’ compensation claims. If you are hurt on the job and are off work due to your injury you are eligible for services in the Physical Therapy department at the AFHC. Please inquiry about claims processing with the Physical Therapy staff.


+ Can I make an appointment during working hours?

Yes, the center is open from Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.


+ Who manages the center?

Premise Health operates the center.


+ Is my health data secure and private? Will my employer have access to my medical records?

Your personal health information is confidential and your data is kept secure. The Associate Family Health Center (AFHC) operates in accordance with HIPAA and works diligently to protect all health records. Premise Health can’t share any personal health information without your permission. Rest assured, your personal health information is not shared with your employer. Additionally, Premise Health operates through a private network and software systems that cannot be accessed by BMW Associates. Notice of privacy practices are available for review within the AFHC.


+ Am I required to use the center?

No, the center is offered as on onsite convenience for our BMW Associates and dependents.


+ Will I have to change my provider because of the center?

No, the center is offered as a benefit to BMW Associates, their spouses and dependents age two and older as a convenience. You are not required to discontinue services with any of your current/future outside providers.
