+ Who is eligible to use the center?

The Associate Family Health Center and Pharmacy is open to Associates and their spouses and dependent children age two and older who are enrolled in a BMW health care plan for medical, dental, and vision coverage.


+ How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment online or call 855-650-1212 (toll free) or 864-989-1432 (local).

+ Are appointments required or can I walk in?

The center is available by appointment. Same day and walk-in appointments will try to be accommodated, however, appointments are encouraged in case there is no availablity same-day.


+ What services does the health center provide?

The Associate Family Health Center is your first stop for a diagnosis, routine primary care, prescription refill, annual physical, immunization, or lab work. The center is equipped to handle a variety of personal medical needs. Please visit the Services page for more detailed information.


+ What medical plans are accepted?

Our health center is in network with the following plans:

+ If I do not have insurance through BMW, can I still use the center?

Yes, those that are covered on a different health plan will be required to file the claim directly with their health insurance carrier.


+ Can I do lab/blood test orders from another provider at the center?

Yes, the center can perform blood draws ordered by an outside provider. Please bring your lab orders with you to your appointment.


+ Is the center an approved provider for workers’ compensation claims? If I get hurt on the job, can/should I go to the center?

The center will offer basic first aid as well as emergency care in certain situations. The center is not an approved provider for workers’ compensation claims. If you are experiencing a medical emergency please call 9-1-1.


+ Can I make an appointment during working hours?

Yes, the center is open from Monday-Thursday: 7 AM - 7 PM, Friday: 7 AM - 4 PM, and Saturday: 8 AM - 12 PM excluding holidays. Please work with your supervisor to ensure proper notice/coverage for your position.


+ Who manages the center?

Premise Health operates the center.


+ Is my health data secure and private? Will my employer have access to my medical records?

Your personal health information is confidential and your data is kept secure. The Associate Family Health Center (AFHC) operates in accordance with HIPAA and works diligently to protect all health records. Premise Health can’t share any personal health information without your permission. Rest assured, your personal health information is not shared with your employer. Additionally, Premise Health operates through a private network and software systems that cannot be accessed by BMW Associates. Notice of privacy practices are available for review within the AFHC.


+ Am I required to use the center?

No, the center is offered as on onsite convenience for our BMW Associates and dependents.


+ Will I have to change my doctor because of the center?

No, the center is offered as a benefit to BMW Associates, their spouses and dependents age two and older as a convenience. You are not required to discontinue services with any of your current/future outside providers.
